1909, 2¢ Hudson-Fulton, imperf, horizontal strip of three tied, along with a 16¢ green airmail (#C2), by Philadelphia Airmail Service duplex cancels, Aug. 1, 1918, on a cover to "Atbara, Egyptian Soudan"; strip also tied by a Sudanese censor marking and there is a "Shellal-Halfa/T.P.O." (Nile riverboat) c.d.s. on the reverse dated Nov. 17; minor toning, still Very Fine and rare.

The 16¢ Airmail stamp paid the airmail postage from Philadelphia to New York, while the strip of three overpaid by 1¢ the U.P.U. surface rate.
