1875, 6¢ dull rose, C.B.N.C. "Hard Paper" Special Printing, without gum as issued, well centered amid wide margins, with usual scissor clipped perfs leaving full perforations at top and right, bright vibrant color on fresh paper, Very Fine, one of the more difficult values of the set to find in nice quality; with 1952 and 1991 P.F. certificates. Scott No. 170 $18,000.
The Siegel census records 36 examples with approximately half having trimmed perfs on at least one side and others having small faults or poor centering.
