1924, 5¢ Roosevelt, horizontal rotary press coil, three singles tied by a New York machine cancel, Mar 29, 1930, on a damaged-in-handling Special Delivery cover from New York to Updala, Sweden, also bearing a "U.S. Ger. Sea Post, S.S. Geo. Washington" duplex handstamp of the same date on reverse; front bears handstamp "Received in Damaged Condition", and the back bears two Official Seals saying basically the same thing in German, "Der Seepost Hamburg-New York in beschädigtem Zustande zugegangen, daher amtlich verschlossen" with the addition of "officially sealed"; that being said, the only damage we see is that the right-most stamp is chipped, otherwise Very Fine.Scott No. 602 Estimate $300 - 400.
