1873, 1¢ ultramarine, C.B.N.C. printing, strip of four and two singles, tied by five strikes of New York Foreign Mail Circle of Wedges cancel (Weiss TR-W13a) and by red "New York, Oct 22" exchange cds on 1873 cover to London, England and forwarded back to Brooklyn, red London Paid (11.3) arrival cds and black backstamp, upon receipt back in New York struck twice with "N.Y. Steamship '3' Nov 16" due cds, one ties the strip; two stamps with a small flaw, Very Fine, ex-Albert, Weiss, Gabriel. Scott No. 156 Estimate $200 - 300.
