Postal Card, 1873, 1¢ brown on buff, watermarked Large U.S.P.O.D., card used from St. Stephen, New Brunswick to East Cambridge, Mass. franked with Canada 1¢ yellow Small Queen tied by cork cancel of Boston, Mass., dated "Oct 30th 1873" in reverse, Very Fine and choice, Fricke's book states that this is the only reported example of a first issue card and a 1¢ Canadian stamp being used to prepay postage from Canada to the U.S., ex-Fricke.
