Louisiana Postal History Collection, of over 50 covers and a few postal cards mostly written-up on stockpages in binder; includes three early 1809-10 New Orleans postmark folded letter sheets to Secretary of Navy in Washington with "Free" handstamps, some other N.O. items including scarce Consulate de France, a la, Nouvelle-Orleans handstamp cover to Baton Rouge, other early townmarks including 1850 Jackson cds, 1831 Port Jackson manuscript, 1850's Minden cds's, Youngs Point, Grand Cane & Cookesville manuscripts, 1830 Clinton manuscript use, includes a section of mixed condition Confederacy including correspondence, three way usages including one with Sydonia oval steamboat handstamp, etc.; condition mixed with some interesting items.
