Japan, 1942 Japanese Navy on Kiska, Aleutian Islands, "Military Mail" postal card addressed to Kyoto, Japan, with red "Censored" boxed handstamp bearing vermilion censor chop, with return address "c/o Yokosuka Post Office U116 (Navy address code for Kiska Island), U151 Kamisaka Party"; some slight soiling and light corner crease, Very Fine, very rare, probably only a few exist. Estimate $500 - 750.
The Japan Navy occupied Kiska and Attu islands from June 7th, 1942 and lasted until the end of May 1943.
