France, 1850, Ceres, 10c bister on yellowish, tête-bêche pair, large margin all around, tied on small cover by two neat strikes of losange cancel with small Beaumont-S-Oise 7 Janv 51 double circle (type 15) at left, cover addressed to Military Addressee in Algeria with backstamp arrival, still Extremely Fine; signed Calves, with 1999 von der Weid certificate (which mentions "trace of light crease", which is virtually invisible under magnification).
