A GORGEOUS NEAR PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE 1875 5¢ BROWN, RE-ISSUE.
There were 10,000 stamps of the 5¢ Re-Issue printed (100 impressions from the new plate of 100). Only 672 of the 5¢ were issued with the remaining 9,328 destroyed on July 16, 1884.
