Massachusetts Stampless Cover Collection, 1810-50's, of approximately 150 covers written-up on early pages in three binders; nice array of townmarks starting with 1840 Abington oval date stamp and later cds's with various ratemarkers, Bridgewater from 1818 manuscript with postmaster (W. Craft) free frank, array of later handstamp townmarks including 1837 rimless cds, 1850 Canton with cds in green, 1822 Carver manuscript, choice Duxbury postmarks, East Bridgewater including 1840 attached ratemarker cds, Fall River with "Steam" handstamp on covers in black and red, interesting 1817 "Middleboro, Ms 4 Corners" manuscript postmark, 1829 blue Milton oval, 1841 Plymouth usage to John Bell as Secretary of War in Washington, 1932 Randolf cds with "10 Paid" attached ratemaker, similar Stoughton cds's, early 1808 Wareham and 1801 Taunton manuscripts, and much more; condition a little varied with many nice strike throughout.
