Wyman, 1844, 5¢ black, two singles, large margins, left stamp with trivial faint crease along the top margin, manuscript canceled, on folded letter datelined "Boston, January 28, 1845" addressed to New York, with red oval "Overton & Co's City Mail, Office, 3 Broad Street" handstamp, Extremely Fine, ex-Geisler; signed Costales, with 1987 and 2009 P.F. certificates.

ONE OF ONLY THREE COVERS KNOWN OF THE WYMAN LOCOMOTIVE ISSUE USED DURING THE OVERTON & CO. PERIOD AND ONLY ONE BEARING A DOUBLE RATE FRANKING.

There is only one other double rate franking known which was used during the Wyman period.
