Hawaii, 1863, Numeral, 2¢ black on grayish, plate 3-G-II, four mostly huge margins, light pre-use crease, tied on folded letter to Honolulu by manuscript and addressed to Haolelea (married to granddaughter of Kamehameha I), Very Fine & a nicely margined Numeral, ex-Golden.

The cover is addressed to Liwai (Levi) Haalelea at Honolulu. Levi Haalelea was an important figure in Hawaiian history and was married to Princess Kekauonohi, the granddaughter of Kamehameha I.
