A REMARKABLE EXAMPLE OF THE 1873 10¢ CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE ISSUE.
The distinctiveness of this variety lies in the minuscule dark silk fibers dispersed throughout the paper, discernible only under close scrutiny. It is a characteristic shared with various other Continental printings, including the 1875 Issue, but notably absent in the National and American printings.
