(Jamaica to Salem, N.C., 1843), two folded covers from the Holland correspondence to Salem, North Carolina, the first is datelined "Fairfield, April 1st 1843", the second is datelined "Lititz Jamaica May 15th 1846", both sent via Baltimore with blue Baltimore cds and matching straightline "SHIP" handstamp, with manuscript "27" rate marking (2¢ ship fee + 25¢ inland postage) and matching "12" rate handstamp (2¢ ship fee + 10¢ inland postage) respectively, Very Fine, a lovely pair, ex-R.
