Manuscript military postmark on cover to New York City, entered the mails with "Wilmington, Cal., Jun 7, 1867" cds, franked with 1861 3¢ rose (defects) with manuscript and grid cancels, cover wear and reduced left, Fine, a rare usage from this facility that severed as the Union Army Headquarters in the Southwest from 1861 to 1871.
