Clear strike of red cds on backflap of cover to Ringwood, England, franked with Samoa 1892 2½d rose tied by "Apia, Samoa, Dec 30, 96" cds, receiving backstamp, cover with small edge tears and file fold affecting marine postmark, F.-V.F., a very scarce marine post office postmark used for only a short time between December 1896 and May 1897.
