Mexico, 1861, 4r dull rose on yellow, Puebla. Tied by "4" reales postage due handstamp on 1862 General Leonardo Marquez manuscript endorsed cover to Puebla as free military mail, manuscript "S.M." ('Servicio Militaire) and "De ofo." (Official Business) notations, not recognized by Puebla postmaster and charged at the 4r letter rate, cover with clipped corners and missing backflap, F.-V.F., extremely rare, the only recorded franked postage due usage in classic Mexico philately, ex Mazepa.
