Tied by bold barred numeral "61" cancels on 1853 registered folded cover to London with "Bedford" backstamp postmark, endorsed manuscript "Registered" upper left corner, some cover discoloration, particularly around 2d strip, flap torn through Bedford postmark, F.-V.F., A nice franking of 7p which paid the correct 1p per half ounce inland rate, plus 6p registration fee.
