Registered envelope with Persian 1c and 12c (2) (Scott 104 and 111, an early registered foreign use of 1898 issue stamps), bearing "native" cancels, and manuscript "Registered." On back: seal of the German Vice-Consul "in Buschar" (Bushire), Persian bilingual "Boushir 27 6" cds, "Colombo Jy 12 98" transit cds, and "Hong Kong Jy 26 98" arrival cds, F.-V.F., An amazing origination for an 1898 letter to Hong Kong, particularly one that was registered.
