Treaty Ports, 1894 Amoy to Bristol, Tennessee. 1894 10c lilac on red, single and gutter pair (seldom seen triple the 10c per half ounce UPU rate), cancelled straight-line "AMOY NO 1 94" (Proud type D3 in last month of its recorded use), "United States Consulate" corner imprint with "Amoy, China" written in, and undecipherable back-stamp, probably San Francisco, carried by "City of Rio de Janeiro" from Hong Kong, 7 Nov, to San Francisco, 27 Nov 1894, F.-V.F., less than five QV gutter pair covers believed extant, this being the only this one seen from Amoy; with 2000 A.P.S. certificate.
