Plumas County Cover Collection. Well formed collection of approximately 600 covers, cards and related items, arranged by towns with earlier items identified in slips; strong early 20th century and good representation in late 19th century postmarks with better, including Beckwith (et al) spellings with unlisted manuscript "Beckwith" (W-E town article), Big Meadows manuscript, 1891 manuscript Buck Ranch, Crescent Mills manuscript and unlisted 1894 provisional straight line, 1910 Hartwell, 1908 Jamison, strong La Porte section with earlier usages, 1860's Onion Valley usages, Prattville with better, early, strong Quincy including manuscript and early town strikes, Spanish Ranch from 1880's, 1883 Taylorsville, etc., some good usages including earliest listing & foreign destinations, also includes 78 1977-85 P.O. visit photos with corresponding mailed cover/card; condition a little varied as to be expected with clear town strikes the rule.
