1857 3¢ Dull Red, Balance Lot. A fascinating lot of 234 covers used domestically with a wide variety of cancels & usages, of the 233 covers 32 covers are franked with 3¢ Type I; included are Fancy Cancels, Color Cancels, Ladies Covers, Advertising Covers, Auxiliary Markings, etc., plus a Major Plated Crack (Pos. 48R7, #25, however the top right corner is defective), virtually all franked with single 3¢, many nice stamps & cancels are present, mixed condition, please inspect as this is an important lot for the specialist.
