Lot of five stampless covers from San Francisco all with 10¢ integral rate cds's (3 different types) in red & black indicating paid & unpaid, plus eight stampless covers from the East to California with 10¢ rates, both paid & unpaid, included is five covers from New York (two covers sent at the 3¢ rate through New York & 10¢ unpaid rate cds applied, one of these is sent on July 1, 1851 the date of the rate change), plus covers from Chicago, Boston & Portland, Me., few small faults, generally Very Fine.
