Wells Fargo & Co., Salt Lake City, U.T. Oval date stamp on 1864, 3¢ pink entire with company frank at top, addressed to New York City, carried by overland by stage to the Union Pacific Railroad and handed over to Boyd's Express for city delivery, with "Boyd's Dispatch, 34 Fulton St., Dec 14, 1867" cds and matching "Paid" in circle handstamp, Very Fine, an attractive combination usage carried completely outside of the mails.
