Buffalo, N.Y./Pan American Exposition. Full strike of American machine cancel (Bomar B01-19) tying 1901 1¢ Pan-American on lovely multicolor Pan-American postcard showing the "Electricity Building", 2nd strike of machine cancel at left end of card, Extremely Fine. Estimate $200 - 300.
This scarce marking was initially used as a receiving postmark at the main Buffalo Post Office, but was later moved to the Exposition postal station on the Fair grounds for use as a cancelling device.
