Parker, 4/14/81. Manuscript postmark on 1875, 1¢ postal card to Helena, Mont., reverse datelined "Fort Maginnis", Very Fine, the only recorded example of this manuscript territorial postmark.
Estimate    $100 - 150.

In 1880 Fort Maginnis was established. The post office was named Parker after it's postmaster Amelia Parker. Later the name was change to Fort Maginnis in 1881.
