Ample margin to touching at right, small flaws, uncanceled and slightly overlapped by 1857, 3¢ rose tied by blue "Louisville, Ky., Jul 31, 1859" cds on cover to St. Louis, Mo., Very Fine, this being one of two known usages of a Squier & Co.'s adhesive used to pay the delivery to the addressee from another city and one of the only known examples in conjunction with the 1857, 3¢ rose, from the St. Louis - Louisville Lucas correspondence; with 2009 P.F. certificate.
