Confederacy, 1862, 1862, 2¢ green, Horizontal Strip of 5. Large margins, tied by "Marshall, Tex./Jun. 15, 1863" double circle postmark on rebacked cover front (one flap appears to be original) addressed to a Lieutenant in Capt. Binon's Co., Col. Randall's Regiment, Little Rock, Ark., the strip has small faults and the cover has been extensively restored, lovely Very Fine appearance, an attractive appearing example of this extremely rare Texas usage of the 2¢ Green, ex-Everett, Hill; with 1977 C.S.A. certificate.
