Spain Reference Collection. Over 500 items mostly non-postal forgeries mounted on album pages in several collections, including a well formed early collection identified by Earée with detailed write-ups; 1850 issues with a few genuine and forgeries including many Earée unlisted including Segui forgeries, 1851 issue includes a set of 5 artist pen and pencil "Bogus Drawings" (28x35mm) simulating essays of the 1851, 6c Queen Isabella II issue, these where owned by Mauire Burrus who considered them genuine, with each signed by Dr. Paul Singer, Burrus and W. Hofinger, the 1851 forgeries with types represented including cancel varieties, 2r Spiro sheet and some 1851-52 bogus emissions, similar 1852 issue with strong completion of forgery types including a 6c Segui sheet, virtually all the 1853 Arms issue forgery types represented including a 3c Sperati pair (BPA type B), Queen issues with excellent completion of types for all values including a 6r Segui sheet of 50, collection continues in same fashion through to the 1870's including many cover fronts with the occasional postal forgery item, genuine on and off cover, section of fake 1868-69 Provisional overprints, Officials, Carlist issue including 1873 1r blue on cover (Sc. #X2, P.F. cert.) as well as forgery types including Spiro sheets, some early Cuba and Philippines material, duplicate stock, pages from Fournier album, etc.
