Tree of Flags with "Union" (Weiss F-T-103/L-2856) on cover franked with an 1862 10¢ rose tied by "Richmond, Va./Jul 15, 1862" cds to Charlottesville, Va., manuscript "April 4th 1862, No 27" [signifying ?]; stamp with nice margins but gum stain and pre-use abrasions, cover worn with edge tears, Fine, thought to be the only known example of the 10¢ rose used on a Captured Union Patriotic Envelope.
