Selection of 35 folded letters; highlights include 1790 straight line with manuscript "Sh2", 1794 manuscript with "Free", 1800 from Baltimore and forwarded at Newport - both cds's of the 1st Federal style, 1815 war rate (2 different), several cds types and rates in the 1820-50's, 2 large 53x45 ovals 1821-22 in red and black, 11 41x34 ovals 1823-33 in blue, bluish green & red with various handstamps including "Free", "Ship", "Forwarded" including two with fancy lettering "Free" and "Ship" straight lines, etc., generally Fine, with little duplication.
