Philatelic Exposition & Society Label Collection. Hundreds of labels and philatelic souvenir sheets from various stamp exhibitions and stamp society events through to the 1980's, housed in pages in 5 binders; diverse range including the first known U.S. philatelic label issued at Columbus, O. in 1908 by the Columbus Collector's Club for the annual American Philatelic Association used on the convention luncheon circular (It was at this convention the organization was changed from "association" to "society"), followed by other A.P.S. souvenir Exposition labels including 1934 convention imprint on a American Letter Mail Co. proof sheet, other including 1941 Garfield Perry souvenir, 1942 Admiral Byrd Stamp and Coin Club 7th Annual Expo, etc.; includes some foreign Expositions.
