Fancy rectangle handstamp very clearly struck in green struck on cover to Freeport, Maine, franked with 1851 10¢ green type III (large margins to just touching at bottom) tied by "San Francisco, Cal., 5 Sep." cds, "Amelia, Sept. 1855" docket at left, Very Fine and choice; with 1986 P.F. certificate that notes "some small staining", which is no consequence.
