Margins large to just in at right, in combination with 1851, 1¢ blue, type IV paying the 21¢ British open mail rate on cover to Paris, France, tied by red grid cancels with matching "Providence, R.I., Jul 9" cds and "Paid" handstamp, partial red New York exchange cds and manuscript "8" decimes due tying 1¢, Calais entry and receiving backstamp, F.-V.F.
