Official Seal, 1947, gray black, perf 8x8½. Used to close the halves of a 1¢ postal reply card to Elgin N.J., sent by a collector requesting an Elgin postmark, postmaster applied the "Elgin Ohio May 22 1950" duplex and folded the card over and closed it with the seal, Very Fine, one of only two recorded examples of this seal type (both on cover).
