Liberia, 1860, 6¢ & 24¢ Black, Die Proofs. In black on thick card (75x115mm), reverse with "E.F.H., Harpenden" handstamp, accompanied by note which reads…From Alfred Harrison, 2nd son of Reverend James Knowles Harrison, Vicar of St. Clements, Barnsbury, London N., These impressions of two Liberian stamps, six cents & 24 cents were given to my friend above by the Liberian Consul in London, England - & he gave them to my brother who gave them to me about 1875 - Robert Pearsall, Very Fine, the unique set of first issue die proofs and The Only Classic Die Proofs in Existence, ex Cockrill.
