Great Britain, 1871-72 Hand-illustrated covers, collection of 15 1d pink stamped envelope fronts featuring finely detailed pen & ink drawings by Arthur George Whitherby (one initialed "AGW") with all but one addressed to him in Lee, S.E. London (the other addressed to a Mrs. Whitherby in Sussex); a wide range of subjects from town scenes to rural landscapes; minor toning, but otherwise Very Fine and very attractive.
