1858 (Sep. 14) Havana, Cuba to Trondhjem, Norway via New York, folded letter with New York "Steamship 10" due rating and "28" cent debit to Prussia, carried by Cunard Line Asia from New York Sep. 22 to Liverpool arriving Oct. 2, various ratings including Norwegian manuscript "57" skilling due on reverse, Very Fine, rare Prussian closed mail letter from Cuba via New York to Norway.
Estimate    $200 - 300.

Letter carried by Livingston, Cochran & Co. steamer "Black Warrior" from Havana to New York. New York debit to Prussia included 5¢ transit fee from Cuba plus 23¢ for U.S. fee under convention. Aachen debited Hamburg Stadtpost 15¼ silbergroschen. Hamburg debited Royal Danish post office in Hamburg 20½ schillinge.
