(Cancels) 3¢ Orange Brown, Types I & II, study of 15 singles canceled by the very scarce 1851 New York integral single bar cds (Simpson rarity 6) used from August 12th to the 27th, 6 off cover and 9 on cover; various dates including August 13, 15, 18, 22-24 off cover, on cover usages including August 18, 20 (x2), 22 (x2, one privately carried from San Francisco), 23 (x2), 25 & the 26th, most hand selected for well margined examples; few flaws, still Very Fine overall, a wonderful assembly and study of this very scarce experimental postmark.
