Confederacy, West Virginia Balance, group of 4 covers comprising May 4, 1861 U.S. 3¢ star die with brown "Falmouth Va." rimless cds to Harpers Ferry and forwarded, circa 1861 with manuscript "Huntersville Va., Nov 30" postmark to Mrs. S.E. Slaughter in Ringgold Tenn.; and last is manuscript "Clinton Va, Nov 7, 1861" postmark to M.A. Barnes of the first Ga. Vol., Company E in Monterey Va., and a "Lewisburgh Va. Jan 31" cds on an undated/unfranked orange cover to Capt. Asa. Holland, Postmaster, St. Aylsford Va.; first repaired, others with faults, Fine.
