Confederacy, 1864 Adversity Covers To Clarendon S.C., two adversity covers made from blue railroad shipping forms, one with blue "Petersburg Va. Jun 23" cds and matching "10" rating handstamp, other with Army of Northern Va. field due "10" circled handstamp in blue, covers endorsed from J. A. Smith, QM Sergt of the 25th S.C. Vol., Hagood's Brig; later field use probably used at Petersburg in late 1864 during the siege; each opened for display; small faults, F.-V.F.
