Confederacy, [Railroad] Route Agent "H & T C R RD", manuscript postmark by an undocumented railroad route agent on 1862, 5¢ blue, pair and two singles, on cover to Brazos Bottom P.O., Tex., docketed "No. 24, June 15 1864"; reduced slightly at right and soiled, Fine.

THE ONLY RECORDED COVER POSTMARKED BY A TEXAS CONFEDERATE ROUTE AGENT.

This cover was postmarked along the railroad route and deposited in the mail bag at Millican Tx. at the end of the line for delivery a few miles north to Brazos Bottom P.O.
