Henry Clay, portrait in ornate frame design, letterhead illustration on hand delivered folded letter addressed "A Keepsake, Prepared for Mrs. General Pitkin, of East Hartford, Conn.", enclosure a lengthy 3 page poem entitled A Monody To the memory of General Pitkin written on 1845; some tone spots and paper loss on last page, otherwise F.-V.F. and rare (Milgram rarity 3, 1-5 known).
