Panama, Colombia 1902, Registration, 20c red brown on blue, used with Colombia 10c blue on blue and Panama 1895 20c violet, later tied by purple "Colon, 18 Mar 1903" duplex on reverse of Panama Railroad Co. cover to Chicago Ill., United States, reverse with New York (3.25) transit and purple Chicago (3.27) arrival; minor filing hole at left, light toning, F.-V.F.

THE EARLIEST RECORDED USE OF THESE TWO STAMPS FROM ANY POST OFFICE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PANAMA.

Colon received a supply of Colombia F13 and H3 early in 1903. Although Panama also received Colombia F17, there is no indication that F17 was ever sent to Colon.
