Pan-American Railway Post Office, Buffalo N.Y., May 18 1901, complete strike of duplex on Pan-American Railway Post Office facing slip pre-printed to Detroit, Mich., purple "E.G. Stackpole," straightline handstamp; mounted on envelope backing, tone spot, a Very Fine strike, One of only 5 strikes on facing slips from the RPO car, this being the only example with the Stackpole handstamp.
Bomar No. B01-03    Estimate $500 - 750.

E.G. Stackpole was one of the six staff hired by the Post Office to man the Railway Post Office car for tours during the exposition.
