Australia, 1851 Sydney N.S.W. to Launceston, Van Dieman's Land, folded letter franked with N.S.W. 1850, 1d crimson lake on bluish + 1851, 2d dull blue on greyish and neatly tied by barred oval handstamps, manuscript "Overland June 17th 1851" endorsement at top however sent by ship with manuscript "4" due rate marked upon arrival, reverse with Sydney origin, Melbourne transit and receiving postmarks; cover with sealed internal spindle hole in address panel near bottom, Very Fine.
