Mexico, 1884-85 Medallions Gold Medal Collection Balance, with cancels collection and high values, includes selected 175+ stamps (many of higher denomination with great cancels) and 12 very beautiful covers, wide variety of values are represented, particularly the difficult ones: 1884 (1c, 2c, 3c, 6c, 10c, 20c, 50c, 1p, 2p) and 1885 (1c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c, 10c, 12c, 25c), cancels from small towns of the 50c green (rarely found used), 3c orange, 6c brown, 12c olive, 25c blue and the elusive 1 and 2 pesos rarely found used, towns include Nieves, Calpulalpam, Chalchihuites, Minatitlan, Huichapan, La Cañada, Nochistlan, Cuencame, Jalacingo, Izamal, Pinal de Amoles (on cover), Galeana, Mineral del Monte, El Oro, Apaseo, Tecamachalco, Valladolid, Zacapaxtla, San Carlos, La Barca, Cholula, Pinos, Chignahuapam, Tepeji, Alamos, Huejutla, San Sebastian, Acatzingo (on cover circular rate), Chilapa, Buenaventura, Autlan, Gutierrez, Zamora & Huatusco, additionally a block of 25 of the 1884 2c green unused (the largest multiple known), perfs 11, mixed frankings with Numerals, a very rare postal card with prepaid return used with return reply included and one of the largest combination of 12c browns on piece, Very Fine overall.
