1855, 1861 Victoria, Australia to the United States, two covers, 1855 bearing Victoria 1s blue (18), faults, tied by "1" barred oval cancel on cover to New York at the double 45¢ rate partially paid, Melbourne (8.29) backstamp, red Liverpool Paid (11.27) tombstone transit, Liverpool (11.28) backstamp and "6/Cents" debit rating handstamp, carried by Collins Line Baltic to New York where "48" due rating handstamp struck; 1861 cover bearing Victoria 4d rose (59) pair and 1s blue (25) tied by grid cancels to Lynchburg Va., red Melbourne (3.25.61) backstamp, endorsed "Via Marseilles", British "16/Cents" credit handstamp for transatlantic packet, carried by NGL Line New York, "N.York Am. Pkt. '5' May 28" exchange due cds; small stamp and cover faults, Fine, a scarce pair of covers.
