Pogue, Sept 24/66" a missionary who was stationed at Waiohinu; small cover corner nick at top left, Very Fine, one of three examples of this manuscript initial postmark known to us. Scott No. 31 Estimate $500 - 750.
During parts of 1866, the Hilo Postmaster had administrative authority over Waiohinu and there was a quick succession of unidentified people running the office there.
