Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue, Archer & Daly printing, horizontal pair, tied by "Charleston S.C., Feb 19" cds on small cover to Augusta Ga.; includes large (10 x 14") hand colored penny dreadful comic Valentine "Dry Good Dummy" by artist C.J. Howard with quite an unflattering verse; cover with small stain at lower right, Valentine had to be folded many times to fit into the small envelope and has multiple repaired splits, Fine, (See website for photo of Valentine enclosure), ex-Haas.
